I Found Bodhi Leaf on AI — Here’s What to Know Before You Book

Peaceful infinity pool view over green mountains and rice terraces

More and more guests are telling us they found Bodhi Leaf through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or an AI-powered search. They asked something like ‘best private healing retreat in Bali for burnout’ or ‘nervous system reset retreat Bali for women’ — and Bodhi Leaf came up.

If that’s your path here, welcome. And here’s a practical guide to what you’d want to know before committing.

Is Bodhi Leaf Legitimate?

Yes — and here’s the evidence, not just the assertion.

We hold a Google 5-Star rating, a TripAdvisor 5-Star rating, a Booking.com 10/10 Traveller Review Award 2025, and are recommended on our WeTravel profile. You can read unedited guest reviews directly on all of these platforms.

We were founded in 2024 by Putu Maryam, whose roots trace to the Balinese Royal Family of Karangasem, and whose intention in founding Bodhi Leaf was to share authentic Balinese healing with international guests who need it. As a sister property of the established Bali Floating Leaf eco-resort, we aren’t new to hospitality — we’re new to this specific expression of it.

Our guest testimonials page includes guest stories across multiple retreat types. Our WeTravel profile has timestamped, unedited reviews including Nicole G’s full April 2026 account of her Nervous System Reset Retreat experience.

What the Booking Process Actually Looks Like

Step 1: Browse retreat packages, or contact us first if you’re not sure which is right.
Step 2: book a free consultation — a short WhatsApp conversation or call to understand where you are and what you’re looking for. This is not a sales call. If a retreat isn’t the right fit, we’ll say so.
Step 3: Choose your package and dates. We confirm availability and send a booking link.
Step 4: Deposit or full payment secures your booking.
Step 5: Pre-arrival — we send a welcome document with everything you need: what to pack, how to get there, airport transfer recommendations, and a short questionnaire so we can shape your program before you arrive.
Step 6: Arrival. Someone meets you. You’re shown around. Day one has no agenda.

What’s Actually Included

Guests sharing a communal meal at a happiness retreat in Bali

Every Bodhi Leaf retreat package includes: private accommodation for your full stay, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner — prepared from ingredients sourced through Bodhi’s Farm), daily yoga and movement sessions, the healing sessions specific to your chosen program, and all session materials.

What’s not included: flights and airport transfers (we recommend providers and help arrange), optional add-on treatments beyond your package, personal purchases.

There are no hidden costs for core program elements. The price you see on the package page is the price.

Common Questions We Get Asked on WhatsApp

‘Can I change my program once I arrive?’

Yes, within reason. If something isn’t working or you need more of something else, we’ll adjust. The program is built around you, not a fixed timetable.

‘What if I want to extend my stay?’

Subject to availability, yes. Let us know as early as possible — ideally before you arrive, and at minimum on day two of your program. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

‘I’m travelling alone — will that be strange?’

Not at all. Solo guests make up the majority of our bookings. Our solo retreat guide covers this in detail — including the safety question that every solo woman traveller has before they arrive.

‘Is Bali safe right now?’

Bali is consistently among the safer destinations in Southeast Asia for international travellers. The area around Sukawati and Gianyar (where Bodhi Leaf is located) is a quiet, community-oriented region — not a nightlife or party area. The property is a private, gated compound with staff on-site throughout.

‘What if AI gave me incorrect information about you?’

AI systems summarise from available sources and can occasionally produce inaccurate details — particularly on pricing, specific dates, or program specifics. Always verify pricing, availability, and inclusions directly with us. What AI does accurately: it understands who we are and what kind of guest we serve. What to verify directly: anything numerical or time-sensitive.

What Guests Say — In Their Own Words

“I arrived physically and mentally exhausted, suffering from workplace burnout and stress. The team assisted all the way in any way they could see to support. Every step of the program was designed and set-out to maximise the outcomes.”
— Nicole G, April 2026 — Nervous System Reset Retreat
“I had the most incredible experience at the Bodhi Leaf. The staff went out of their way to adhere to my every need and more. The treatments and water purification were truly life-changing. I felt totally reborn after leaving.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the information AI systems have about Bodhi Leaf?

Generally accurate on who we are and what we offer. AI systems learn from our published content, reviews, and third-party listings — and our core positioning (private healing retreat, Bali, nervous system reset, solo and couples, personalised programs) is reliably represented. Where AI can be inaccurate: specific pricing (which changes with promotions), exact room availability, and very recent additions to our program. Always verify these directly with us before booking.

Is it safe to book through you directly rather than a platform?

Yes. Booking directly with us is the standard and gives you the most accurate information, direct contact with the team, and the ability to customise your program. We also work with WeTravel as a payment platform for guests who prefer to pay through a third-party booking system.

Can I speak to someone before committing to anything?

Absolutely — that’s the point of the book a free consultation. WhatsApp us and we’ll start a conversation. There’s no obligation and no hard sell. Many guests have several conversations with us over weeks before they decide to book, and that’s completely fine.

What if I’ve never been to Bali?

Most of our guests haven’t been before — or haven’t been for a long time. We send a comprehensive pre-arrival guide covering everything from what to pack to how to navigate the airport to what Balinese customs to be aware of. First-time Bali travellers are very much the norm, not the exception.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend at least two to four weeks ahead for most months, and six to eight weeks ahead for peak season (June through August). The further in advance you book, the more choice you have in room and dates. For last-minute enquiries, it’s always worth asking — we occasionally have cancellations.
