Founder of Bodhi Leaf and Floating Leaf, with over 15 years of experience in Bali’s wellness industry. Her roots trace back to The Balinese Royal Family of Karangasem. Raised with traditional dances, healing arts, and Balinese culture, Putu brings authenticity to your experience.

Her deep connection to the island enriches your stay, providing meaningful touchstones into local culture and hidden gems. Putu’s relations ensure that each retreat embraces religious and cultural events, from ceremonies to palace visits.

In her previous life, Putu owned and managed a renowned spa in central California. Now, she infuses Bodhi Leaf’s spa treatments with state-of-the-art Western techniques while preserving centuries-old Balinese secrets.

Beyond her cultural roots and hospitality background, Putu brings over 15 years of experience in Bali’s wellness industry through an integrative approach to sound healing, somatic awareness and personalized wellbeing, with a particular focus on burnout recovery and nervous system support. She holds certifications in Yoga for Healing Therapy and Sound Healing from the Indonesian Life Skill Academy, and completed a Sound Healing Therapy Course at Sound of Himalaya Retreat in Nepal, part of the global Project Sound for Peace. She has also completed the Polyvagal Certificate Course: Safety, Connection and the Human Experience, through the Polyvagal Institute. These trainings shape the personalized wellness experiences she creates at The Bodhi Leaf, from Nervous System Reset and Tibetan singing bowl sessions to Silent Meditation, supporting guests as they slow down, reconnect with themselves and find a greater sense of balance.
