Along with relaxing the muscles after intensive massage, the Herbal Steam Treatment is the perfect addition to your overall treatment. This steam treatment releases toxins broken up by the bodywork through the skin’s pores. Sweating is one of the body's natural purification methods and the Balinese have traditionally used herbs in the sauna to assist in this process. Using heat, this steam treatment enlarges blood vessels, which in turn boosts blood circulation, allowing oxygen and nutrients to more readily heal and detoxify the body.
We recommend the Traditional Balinese Herbal Steam Therapy after your massage to promote blood flow and detoxification. This is one of the most efficient methods of eliminating toxic wastes through the skin and respiratory system.

The highly aromatic medicinal herbs quickly absorb into the bloodstream and circulate directly into the body’s tissues, delivering therapeutic benefits to the cells and organs. At the same time, the hot steam opens the pores and allows the herbal vapors to enter the skin to draw out toxins with the perspiration.

We are told it makes the return flight much more bearable and relaxing. Unfortunately we cannot make the flight any shorter, the seats and larger or the food any better; but we can make it much more relaxing.
